Job DescriptionJob Description

We are currently seeking a Facility Maintenance Mechanic to join our team You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks:

-Diagnose and correct routine maintenance needs in apartments, including work order requests, accessories and water lines.

-Perform general and preventative maintenance tasks on Authority buildings, grounds, and equipment, and prepare records; distributes notices.

-Perform general grounds keeping tasks and trash/debris pick-up in order to maintain clean and neat appearances of property by the Authority.

-Responsible for performing a variety of semi-skilled structural, plumbing and electrical maintenance work at Authority properties.

-Work involves repair and replacement of items such as windows, doors, gutters, cabinets, walls, ceilings, toilets, faucets, and electrical outlets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

 

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
