We are seeking a Controller to become an integral part of our team You will oversee financial activities and personnel as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Must have Pharmaceuticals and inventory experience.

Position Overview:
The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, and development of internal control policies and procedures. This role requires a deep understanding of both QuickBooks and SAP to ensure seamless financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial operations, including accounting, payroll, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Accounting Systems: Manage and maintain accounting systems, specifically QuickBooks and SAP, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial reporting requirements.
  • Audit Coordination: Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily available.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
  • Tax Management: Oversee and manage tax planning, preparation, and filing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance, with a minimum of 3 years in a Controller role.
  • Extensive experience with QuickBooks and SAP.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
