An LA financial services company is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join their team. In this role, the Accounting Analyst will be responsible for working with SQL codes and data tables, data manipulation, creating dashboards, reconciliations, creating queries, analyzing high volume payments, and payment analysis. To be successful in this role, the Accounting Analyst should have strong systems experience, knowledge of US GAAP, and great communication skills. Does this sound like you or someone you know? What do you need for this Accounting Analyst role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting and/or finance experience
- Advanced Excel – VBA, macros
- MUST have experience using SQL
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Utilize dashboards and create presentation
- Adjust and write codes with SQL data tables
- Create dashboards within in Excel
- Create reconciliations from SQL
- Create queries to pull data from the ERP system
- Analyze high volume consumer payments
- Analyze payment channels and the penetration percentages of check vs ACH
- Analyze the percentage of returned payments analysis

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
