Job Description:

The Regional Sales Consultant represents Beverage South in the Mid-Atlantic region with passion, creativity and is self-motivated with a customer-centric drive. The primary responsibilities are to visit with customers and have meaningful sales conversations to help increase sales revenue. Consultative selling developed through trust and repetition will drive maximum results adding value to our clients, our customers and to Beverage South as well.

 

Job Duties:

Represent alcoholic beverage suppliers in a first-class manner, with the utmost integrity under the Beverage South family of brands in the described territory above.

 

The Regional Sales Consultant is responsible for attaining case volume goals, the attainment of distribution benchmarks and conducting state listing meetings, either in person or virtually.

 

Conduct VIP/Karma minimum submissions by market, minimum days in market to be determined based on special market needs, sales goals/trends, meetings, trade shows, events, VIP market visitors, etc…for specific suppliers.

 

Submit a weekly plan of attack for the week each and update activities for reporting purposes.

 

Report any and all needs, opportunities and advantages/disadvantages in each market through the submission of the weekly report of activities.

 

Build, develop and nurture relationships in retail accts. (boards), on premise accounts, with brokers, reps and state leaders with the goal of growing business.

 

Be able to lift 50lbs.

 

Work trade shows, broker events and any supplier driven special events, as well as host key decision makers in each market at special events.

 

Be well versed in all brand education for each brand or family of brands and pursue continuing education programs for self fulfilment and accomplishment.

 

Ba able to cultivate and develop relationships in any regional accounts, on or off premise in each market and bubble up any opportunities that could lead to a national program.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, or minimum 2 years sales experience

Valid Driver’s license and clean DWV record.
Required to pass a physical exam.

Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close and color vision.
