Job Overview:
Iggy’s is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join their kitchen team. As a Line Cook at Iggy's, you will play a key role in preparing and cooking our signature dishes. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential. Your contributions will help maintain the high standards that make Iggy's a beloved destination for great food and memorable dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including lobster grilled cheese, flatbreads, pastas, cheeseburgers, seafood nachos, Brezeln (soft pretzels), and other unique specialties. 
  • Following recipes and quality standards, ensure that food is cooked to the right temperature and presentation is up to Iggy's high standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service, especially during peak hours.
  • Assist in managing inventory, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and available when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to coordinate orders and meet guest expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting.
  • Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and multitask effectively.
  • Passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality food.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
