Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs a member of our Digital team, the Data Analyst will work with cross functional teams in our organization to help drive our data strategy.  They are a key player in building our data platform, enabling analytics, and data governance initiatives. This is a remote position.

Essential Duties/Functions:
  • Design and implement processes and solutions associated with a wide variety of data sets used for data/text mining, analysis, modeling, and predicting to enable informed business decisions.
  • Collect clear documentation of reporting and analytics data requirements from cross functional teams in our organization.
  • Perform data analysis and provide information on analytic results to business and functional leaders using visualizations to communicate data and metrics.
  • Collaborate and calibrate with internal and external stakeholders and solution partners to build scalable data processes, reports, and metrics.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school in computer science, information science, information technology, statistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years related experience in data and analytics, with database cloud-based platforms: SQL Server, Azure, AWS, Snowflake
  • 3+ years of experience with project management platforms: Monday.com, Azure DevOps, JIRA
  • 5+ years of experience with Business Intelligence Tools such as Power BI, Qlik
  • 3+ years of experience in the commercial insurance industry and regulatory environment.
  • Office 365 (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) – intermediate to advanced level
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the year.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity or knowledge of Data Governance Tools: Collibra, Alation, Purview.
  • 2+ years of experience, proactively identifying issues with processes and data.

You'd be an ideal fit if:
  • You have been an Associate’s degree and have at least one year of your current/most recent experience in data analytics, in the commercial insurance industry
  • You have 3+ years of experience with Business Intelligence Tools such as Power BI, Qlik;  and with database cloud-based platforms such as SQL Server, Azure, AWS, Snowflake

Additional Information
  • The salary range for this position is 75 to 90K.
  • This is a remote position. Planned, in-office activities may be required on occasion (typically 2-4x per year).
