We are currently seeking a full-time Medicare Specialist in the Knoxville, TN area to support our continued growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with understanding Medicare options and providing superior support to insurance brokers and agents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary Contact: Act as the main point of contact for insurance brokers/agents regarding Medicare products.
  • Sales Support: Provide exceptional support to brokers through inbound and outbound calls, helping them understand our Medicare products and services.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on Medicare offerings, enhancements, and industry changes.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about other Medicare products/services in the marketplace to communicate effectively with brokers.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales/Marketing team to enhance broker sales.
  • Customer Service:
    • Coordinate the licensing and appointment process for new brokers.
    • Provide training and answer questions on available Medicare products.
    • Train brokers and assist with questions regarding online portals and technology.
    • Acknowledge and resolve broker complaints or concerns.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Maintain organized and accurate client files through automated systems.
    • Document all activities and manage precise data.
    • Handle other tasks such as special projects and development of new ideas/services as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate/Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Experience: Previous insurance background with a focus on Medicare; Life and Health licenses preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with brokers.
    • A motivated self-starter with a high level of production.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel), internet, and other related computer applications.
