Job DescriptionJob Description

R & R Services Inc a truck/trailer repair shop is looking for ambitious, capable, and skilled diesel mechanics.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Receives repair order assignments from Shop Manager

  • Performs work directed in repair order in a timely and thorough manner

  • Maintains superior standard of workmanship in all services performed

  • Repairing heavy trucks

  • Repairing semi-trailers

  • Oil changes

  • Miscellaneous engine repairs

  • Air brakes

  • Welding

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of all heavy truck/trailer repair and maintenance

  • Excellent communication skills, including writing

  • Ability to operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely

  • Ability to regularly lift and manipulate heavy objects (up to 70 pounds)

Compensation/Benefits

  • Compensation: DOE

  • Full-time Mon-Fri 

  • Paid Holidays and paid sick time(accrued)

  • Paid vacation after 1 year
