Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides direct client care and services at the client’s residence and in accordance with a written service plan to help clients reach their goals. The DSP will also provide safety oversight, as most clients of HDE are vulnerable citizens.

Responsibilities

  • Work 1-on-1 with clients on a consistent schedule at their home and in their community
  • Full and Partial assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Monitor clients for safety
  • Plan and organize daily tasks
  • Document services and report to supervisor weekly
