Job Description:
The Senior Construction Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of commercial construction processes, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of commercial construction projects.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of project managers and superintendents.
- Supervise the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate regularly with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PMP or other relevant certifications preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
