Position: Associate Case Manager

Location: Northbrook, Ilinois

Salary: $40,000 annually

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Case Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, excellent problem solver, and strives for accuracy in all tasks. This role is perfect for individuals seeking a meaningful career in the legal field or looking to gain comprehensive experience before attending graduate school.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in opening new case files and maintaining accurate client records.
  • Engage in regular communication with clients to keep them informed about their case status and gather necessary information.
  • Conduct investigations to support case development, including obtaining police reports, medical records, and other relevant documentation.
  • Manage property damage claims, including liaising with insurance companies and other parties.
  • Work on balances and lien reductions to maximize client compensation.
  • Prepare closing statements and facilitate the case settlement process.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the legal team and enhance firm operations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience in a legal or administrative role a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to learning.
