CASE MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR


The position will play an integral role to our clients and the Case Management department by providing a variety of administrative and document management functions. This will be a hybrid position, approximately 3 days per week in office, although it may occasionally require being in office more days depending upon workload. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Support the Case Management Team in managing the uploading and routing of incoming legal documents and medical records to appropriate team members.
  • Act as the hub of the team in allocating workflow and client inquiries to appropriate team members.
  • Coordinate and process outgoing mailings with paralegal and mailroom personnel.
  • Handle the set up and management of new client matters in the firm’s case management system.
  • Update client’s files with new information as needed.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Thrives in a collaborative, team environment while also able to work independently to insure project completion.
  • At least 3-4 years of administrative (preferably legal), legal document logging and tracking, or similar support experience required.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office, especially in Word such as mail merges.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.


PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

  • B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
  • Familiarity with various legal documents (retainers, liens, probate, etc.) and the stages of a case through the litigation process greatly preferred.
  • Prior experience with medical records and/or medical terminology
  • Previous experience working with Sales Force or Litify Legal Software and/or Box cloud storage system a plus.
