This position reports to the Director of Sales

Sales Coordinator Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):

  • Provides sales support to the Director of Sales and Hotel Team
  • Handle incoming sales inquiries for extended stays & groups of 5 or greater
  • Create and maintain Business Transient and Group Agreements
  • Responsible for entering, creating and maintain group blocks in Delphi & Fosse
  • Handle booking, contracting, and detailing of meeting rooms
  • Support DOS with billing and coding of payables related to sales
  • Participate in weekly revenue calls- reporting out on sales activities
  • Respond to Extended Stay leads & Customers in a timely fashion
  • Review daily arrivals and create welcome notes/gifts for extended stay guests
  • Track weekly sales activities
  • Enter and submit weekly and monthly reports to corporate office
  • Inspect Daily Show Rooms & conduct scheduled and walk in site tours
  • Order and maintain proper sales collateral and supplies
  • Perform other tasks as needed or directed to ensure effective hotel operations
  • Contribute and work as a “team” member in all facets of the position.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of hotel sales and or administrative experience
  • Excellent written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills
  • Experience with brand sales systems, Delphi and Fosse preferred
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs and Excel
  • Excellent time management skills working in a fast-paced environment
