· Ideally, you would have some experience and/or training in the HVAC industry, but this is not a necessity. We work in a collaborative team environment, and we are willing to teach a person that is willing to learn.

· Starting salary will be based on aptitude and experience

Primary Support Functions 
•    Assist customers/counter with ALL special orders and non-stock items.
•    Support store and counter staff with “large” line-item orders and job quotes including commercial.
•    Direct ship- verifying shipping and freight. Bill customers and receive POs.
•    Serve as point of contact for web orders & e-commerce.
•    Oversee lockers (future).

Secondary Support Sales Functions
•    Collaborate, refine, implement, and serve as point of contact for the orientation and training processes of Counter Team staff.
•    Follow up with customers referred by MMC.
•    Follow up on open orders and POs.
•    Serve as point of contact for training classes and act as a liaison between training administrators and class instructors.
•    Assist with setup of training and special events.
•    Participate in monthly CSA conference calls for best practices and training, as assigned.
•    Assist in maintaining the highest standards in cleanliness and appearance of the showroom.
•    Facilitate or lead other projects as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Job Specific Skills
Required:
•    High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
•    Basic computer skills (e.g., Email programs, Internet browsers, Word, Excel, JEN, and the DDI Inform system).
•    General knowledge of HVACR products, concepts, and the industry as a whole.

Preferred:
•    Experience with computer or barcode driven inventory management systems.
•    Demonstrated understanding and application of effective sales strategies and techniques.
•    Skill in using point-of-sale computer systems to locate information and process transactions.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
•    Ability to lift to 75 pounds climb and balance on ladders and equipment; walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl; and reach, push, pull and manipulate.
•    Most work is performed in a climate-controlled retail setting where noise levels are low-to-moderate. Warehouse environment is climate-controlled but may be open to dust/dirt.
