Day Shift : Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Description:
This is a Temp to Hire position.

Summary: 
The Purchasing Coordinator is the main purchaser for Boston Heart and is responsible for placing orders, opening inventory that comes into the lab, reaching out to vendors, coordinating with lab management, and finding cost savings.  The Purchasing Coordinator reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

Purchasing Coordinator:
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma

Bachelors Degree Preferred
Trainable, attention to detail, positive work attitude
Strong organizational and communication skills
Must be able to work in office, Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM 

Basic - Intermediate computer skills to include Microsoft office, especially Outlook (Basic), Teams (Basic), and Excel (Intermediate preferred)

Ability to meet time contraints and work well under pressure
Previous warehouse, purchasing experience is a plus

Experience using FedEx Ship Manager/UPS World Ship is a plus
