Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining machinery and shop equipment to ensure optimal performance.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Fabricate and weld metal components to create custom stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metal projects.

- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.

- Operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welders, as well as other fabrication tools.

- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

- Maintain and troubleshoot machinery and shop equipment to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.

 

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a welding fabricator, particularly in building stairs and miscellaneous metal projects.

- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.

- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.

- Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting fabrication machinery and shop equipment.

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Welding certification is not required but is a plus.
