The Assistant Parking Manager will support the Parking Manager in overseeing the daily operations of parking facilities within our office complexes and building garages. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring efficient utilization of parking spaces, maintaining high standards of customer service, and managing the parking staff. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively support operations, optimize efficiency, and enhance the customer experience. Operations Support:

  • Assist in overseeing day-to-day parking operations, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
  • Help develop and implement operational procedures to optimize efficiency and customer service.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining parking lot equipment and facilities, including maintenance and damage control.
  • Support facility maintenance for cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Implement all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA laws and company regulations.

Personnel Management:

  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and scheduling parking staff.
  • Provide support and guidance to staff, helping to set clear goals and expectations.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with staff and provide feedback as directed by the Parking Manager.
  • Help foster a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure an exceptional and seamless customer experience for every parker.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Regularly assess service quality through feedback mechanisms and take corrective actions as needed.

Financial Management Support:

  • Assist in monitoring financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and labor costs.
  • Help implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability while maintaining service quality.
  • Support daily cash handling procedures and assist in submitting accurate reports of collections.

Client and Business Development:

  • Help maintain excellent relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and proactively addressing any concerns.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for revenue growth through promotions, pricing strategies, or additional services.
  • Support marketing campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities and partnerships that can drive growth.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in parking management or a related leadership role.
  • Strong organizational and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for various administrative and operational tasks.
  • Financial acumen and experience with profit and loss analysis.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and walk indoor and outdoor facilities.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License.
