We are seeking a Production Clerk to join our team The Production Clerk will coordinate the flow of work and materials between departments as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Accurately inputting and updating information into databases, spreadsheets, and other documents as required.
- Filing and Record-Keeping: Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files, ensuring easy retrieval and confidentiality of information.
- Communication: Handling incoming calls, emails, and inquiries professionally and directing them to the appropriate personnel. Drafting and formatting correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
- Scheduling: Assisting with the scheduling of appointments, meetings, and conferences for management and staff. Coordinating travel arrangements and accommodations as required.
- Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory control by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and reconciling discrepancies.
- General Office Support: Performing various office tasks including photocopying, scanning, faxing, and ordering office supplies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, clerk, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or steel industry setting.
