StreamTech is looking for a driven, proactive individual to join our team in an important role as Human Resources Payroll Coordinator. This position focuses on understanding employee pay and benefits and communicating them effectively to our employees. We are looking for someone with a strong background in payroll. Our ideal candidate loves numbers and appreciates the importance of accuracy in the details.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the administration of the company’s payroll, benefits and related reports.

  • Enter payroll information into ADP, including the hours, special adjustments, bonuses, deductions, expense reimbursements, etc.
  • Perform pre and post payroll audits, ensuring accuracy of payroll information.
  • Prepare various reports related to salaried, hourly, and field employees.
  • Process new hires, change of status, and terminations in payroll and benefit systems.
  • Ensure benefits are processed correctly in the payroll system, including elections and deductions.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits questions in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Any other duties assigned by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with payroll and benefits administration
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Experience with 401(k), LTD, Medical and Dental benefits administration
  • Bi-lingual is a plus (English/Spanish)

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Computer skills required – job entails working with several software applications
  • Good written and verbal communication skills required
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proven professionalism and discretion
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work independently
