We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-time Medical Assistant Endoscopy Technician at our Long Island Gastroenterology Specialists office in Wantagh, NY.

The Medical Assistant Endoscopy Technician Under the direction of the Practice Administrator/ Senior Endo technician, and working with assigned Physicians, The Medical Assistant / Endo technician is part of the medical team that cares for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures to diagnose or treat gastrointestinal problems. The Medical Assistant / Endo Technician cares for patients post procedure and post conscious sedation anesthesia.

The Medical Assistant Endoscopy Technician must have the following qualifications and experience:

  • High School Diploma,
  • Licensing/Registration/Certification Required: Certification: Medical Assistant
  • One year of clinical experience preferred
  • Must be able to perform Phlebotomy.
