Boutique beachside hotel in beautiful Wrightsville Beach, NC seeks an additional front desk clerk.    The Sandpeddler Inn is a 21 unit condominium association that operates as a hotel.  We are an upmarket property in a highly desirable location. 

The position is permanent part time, on site at our property. 

Responsibilities:
1.    Greet guests and follow check-in procedures.
2.    Handle key and parking pass distribution and collection; arrange for after-hours distribution as needed
3.    Answer phone.
4.    Take reservations (those coming in by phone or in person).
5.    Enforce check-out times.
6.    Keep office clean.
7.    Keep pool area clean from towels and trash.
8.    Wash, dry and fold pool towels and kitchen towels.
9.    Report to and take direction from Property Manager.
10.    Follow office opening/closing procedures (e.g. locking pool and office).
11.    Provide guests with recommendations for local restaurants, shops, etc. upon request.
12.    Check rooms after cleanings and complete cleaning checklist.
13.    Report repair/maintenance issues immediately to Property Manager.
14.    Blow off pool deck and pick up any loose trash in common areas, including parking area.

​Qualifications:

Previous experience in customer service, front desk service, or other related fields

  • Ability to build rapport with guests
  • Personal integrity and a positive attitude to serve our clients.
  • Computer reservations software experience and/or internet marketing experience a plus.
