CV Resources is partnering with a rapidly growing company in the property management industry to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist to their team.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely for property management operations.
- Maintain vendor relationships, including processing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and issuing payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and ensure accuracy of accounts payable aging.
- Assist in month-end closing processes, including GL entries related to accounts payable.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment and invoice inquiries.
- Maintain organized and updated financial records and documentation.
- Assist in ad-hoc financial projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in property management or real estate.
- Strong understanding of General Ledger (GL) concepts and experience with GL entries.
- Proficiency in accounting software (preferably AppFolio or other Property Management Accounting software).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
