Job Title: Sr Project Manager
Location: New York, NY 10020 (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months
Pay range: $90/Hr to $98/Hr on W2
Job description - Key responsibilities include:
- Drive execution through the full project life cycle from strategic project planning to delivery including development of target state business processes, build and adoption of technology solutions
- Work across multiple functions and legal entities to structure and manage end-to-end project efforts through deep understanding of requirements, technologies, cross-functional impact, and business strategy
- Ensure target end state is delivered inclusive of required governance, business process redesign and appropriate controls
- Leading the translation of business needs into technology solutions and requirements
- Manage weekly status reporting, understand and maintain program’s RAID log, run daily and/or weekly working groups to support successful program delivery
- Provide appropriate information share with management
Requirements:
- Significant experience and track record of delivery of major cross functional initiatives at large and complex financial institutions.
- This includes how to structure initiatives, project planning, and resource allocation
- Strong knowledge and experience of ISO related system functions including payments, statements, compliance, reconciliation, regulatory change
- Strong knowledge of capital markets and broker dealer framework
- Understanding of risk, finance, operations, and data processes as well as the technologies enabling them
- Strong business, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving skills
- Superior communication skills: both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff
- Solid knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools
- Tolerance and understanding in multi cultures
Skills:
- 8 – 10 plus years of PM experience with at least 2 – 4 years of PM experience around swaps, derivatives, markets etc.
- Good communication skill, team player and working knowledge of Swaps, Derivative is mandatory
Education:
- BS or MS Computer Science or MBA preferable not mandatory.
