Empire Cooler Service has been the leading supplier of refrigeration and ice making equipment in the Chicago area since 1932. We sell, lease and service equipment to the largest restaurant, hotel, and hospitality groups in the Midwest. Job Summary:

Receive and process incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Maintain a safe/clean environment and have an accurate inventory in the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

  • Shipping, receiving, storing and issuing of product, inventory/fixed assets.

  • Maintain receiving and inventory control records and prepare related reports.

  • Follows and ensures others follow all health, regulations and safety procedures as directed by the organization and laws.

  • Properly document shipping/receiving and verifying equipment coming in and out of warehouse is correct.

  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during their shift.

  • Physically able to lift 50 pounds or more.

  • Able to work weekends and holidays.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to work independently.

  • High attention to detail and monitors quality/quantity of inventory

  • Highly organized and able to store items efficiently.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

  • Pallet Jack: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Warehouse: 2 years (Preferred)

  • Forklift Certified (Preferred)
