Position Details for Shipping and Receiving Clerk:
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 4 pm (with potential for overtime)
  • Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities for Shipping and Receiving Clerk:
  • Operate a forklift or obtain certification within 30 days.
  • Reorganize pallets and transfer boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized warehouse setting.
  • Utilize computer systems for shipping and managing shipments.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Read and write in English to ensure precise record-keeping and communication.
  • Assist in inventory management and ensure shipment accuracy.

Qualifications for Shipping and Receiving Clerk:
  • Previous forklift experience or willingness to become certified within 30 days.
  • Capability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills, with experience in shipping and logistics preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to read and write in English for documentation purposes.
  • Bi-lingual abilities are a plus, with Spanish being particularly advantageous.
