Administrative Assistant

Reports to: Operations Manager
Primary Purpose: Responsible for answering phones, running errands, sorting mail and a variety of other tasks to keep the business operation running efficiently. Exercises independent judgment in the resolution of administrative problems.
Essential Functions:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Answer, screen and redirect incoming calls and online chat
· Receive and sort company mail
· Order general facility supplies and keep inventory of stock
· Initiate credit card authorization process and complete credit card charges when parts are ready to be shipped and update CRM during process.
· Perform new customers’ credit requests permission procedure
· Complete Vendor Forms
· Assist Operations Manager with paperwork as needed (e.g. scanning and filing documents according to procedure) and other clerical tasks
· Perform other duties as assigned

Work Environment:
· Work in an office setting
Physical Requirements:
This job may require frequent sitting. Candidate must be able to lift up to ten pounds and to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Candidate must be able to see in the normal visual range with or without correction and to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
