Duties and responsibilities for this position include the following: 
•    You have passion for contributing to disruption to US healthcare
•    In partnership with the CEO, Director of Strategy, VP Research and other stakeholders, you help shape the long-term strategy (3 years) and short-term roadmaps (6+ months) related to our research and data innovation initiatives.  
•    You take proactive ownership in leading the design and architecture of our platform capabilities – member engagement, omni-channel data collection, data ingestion, data pipeline processing, application of ML/NLP models, analytics development, data lake, and ecosystem integration. 
•    You own and make smart decisions in build vs buy vs partner, driven by market/business needs as well as in alignment with industry trends, skills availability and high efficiency.
•    You use processes to effectively manage needs like vendor assessment, partnership frameworks, budget management, planning for releases, root cause analysis, etc. 
•    Applying your expertise in managing large datasets used for analytics, you are ready to address opportunities and challenges related to data ingestion, transformation, cleaning, and ensuring security and compliance throughout these processes. 
•    You are eager to establish and manage our development, testing, and production environments, selecting optimal tools and technologies to meet both current and future needs.
•    Partnering with internal/external stakeholders is a fun engagement for you; you are driven by delivering value to the market/business and you influence such partnerships to achieve that ultimate goal. 
•    You take reliability, security and scalability seriously and will ensure we are meeting the necessary platform SLAs by ensure robust DevOps practices.
•    You enjoy championing a culture of execution, productivity, and sustainability (EPS), focusing on delivering high-quality deliverables on time and within budget.
•    Building and nurturing a collaborative and high-functioning engineering team that values quality output, personal growth, and fun is your style, while setting up robust recruitment and professional development processes.
•    Maintaining expert-level knowledge on technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, best practices in software development, and hopefully even healthcare technology trends come very naturally to you 
•    You are someone who demonstrates intellectual curiosity, while getting things done, and embraces ambiguity. 
•    You are exceptionally good at planning and tracking on a proactive basis.
•    You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
•    You prepare, present and do solid preparation for all reviews, external or internal, and invest into the necessary pre-read, FAQ and other work products for an effective and efficient result. 

Minimum Requirements
•    10+ years of hands-on software development experience and proven success in developing and deploying greenfield software solutions in 0 to 1 environment. 
•    Mastery of modern data processing/lake platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake), frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka), cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), with expertise in agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
•    Solid experience in healthcare data/analytics ecosystem, including extensive experience with claims data, electronic health records (EHR), and clinical data sets. 
•    Ability to manage technical teams and effectively recruit & build engineering teams.
•    Exceptional commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
•    Proven program management and people management.
•    Excellent analytical, communication and collaboration skills and experiences.
