A manufacturing company is seeking an individual who will be responsible for accounts receivables, collections, and credit card statements, as well as assisting the Accounting Manager.   Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Record all checks in NetSuite and scan to bank for cash receipts and record all wires from banking activity for deposits
  • Prepare open order reports 
  • Accounts Receivable aging to be reviewed on a weekly basis
  • Contact past due accounts for collections
  • Prepare invoices and update shipping and tracking information
  • Resolve discrepancies between amount paid and amount owed 
  • Enter credit card receipts and reconcile statement on a monthly basis
  • Back-up for Accounting Manager's Accounts Payable responsibilities when needed
  • Maintain Tax Exempt Forms and Compliance

 

Job Qualifications:

  • One to two years experience in the Accounting field is preferred
  • Must have general accounting knowledge
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Suite; NetSuite experience is a plus 
  • Must have accurate data entry skills
  • Must have the ability to use good judgement with strong problem-solving skills
  • The ability to take initiative, follow through, and work independently is required
  • Must be well organized and highly detail oriented
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
