Paul Davis is a business of helping people, businesses, and agencies after a natural disaster or any emergency such as flood or fire. When such unfortunate events happen, we step in with a team of professionals to help ease the stressful situation. A national franchise network of over 300 offices, Paul Davis has been the leader in the property restoration industry since 1966. We are looking for driven people to become mitigation technicians in our team of experts.
The responsibilities of the mitigation technician include assessing damaged properties to see what can be saved, cleaning damaged properties, removing and replacing damaged materials, and sanitizing the restored homes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in English
- Water damage restoration is highly preferred
- Minimum two years experience in a manual labor position or equivalent schooling
- Positive attitude
- Dedication to customer service
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities:
- Work safely in properties that have been damaged by storm, water, fire, or mold
- Take photos of the job assigned before and after the process, evaluate and document the damage
- Perform initial site visit and conduct inspections
- Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule
- Focus and dedication to providing excellent customer service
- Remove the structural damage to the property using power tools and/or hands
- Responsible for unloading all trash in designated areas
- MICA Software data entry
