Job Description:
Viirtue is seeking an experienced VoIP Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a VoIP Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our existing sales efforts by providing technical expertise and solutions to our White Label VoIP prospects and partners. Your primary responsibilities will include understanding customer requirements, designing VoIP solutions, and effectively communicating technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions using Viirtue’s White Label VoIP products.
· Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for prospects and partners.
· Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and other technical documentation.
· Provide post-sales technical support and guidance to customers as needed.
· Conduct product training sessions for sales teams and partners.
· Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to VoIP technologies.
· Act as a technical liaison between Viirtue’s MSP partners, customers and internal teams (engineering, product management, etc.).
· Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events to showcase Viirtue’s VoIP solutions.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience) preferred.
· Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer in the VoIP industry.
· Deep understanding of VoIP technologies, protocols, and standards (SIP, RTP, codecs, etc.).
· Experience with Netsapiens and similar solutions such as PBX systems, SIP Trunking, and cloud-based communications.
· Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and events.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Location: Preferably Greater Tampa Area, Open to remote for the right candidate
· Certifications related to VoIP (e.g., CCNA Voice, CCNP Voice, etc.).
· Experience with VoIP provisioning, billing systems, and CRM platforms.
· Familiarity with APIs and integrations for VoIP solutions.
