We are looking for an Client Service Intern to work in our Lakewood, NJ office.


As a Client Service Intern at HFA, you will play a vital role in supporting our client service and operational functions. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in client engagement, administrative support, and operational backup within a dynamic and professional environment.


Responsibilities:

  1. Budget Report Management:
    • Generate budget reports at the conclusion of audits and accurately record findings in designated binders for reference and compliance purposes.
  2. Engagement Letters and Communication:
    • Draft meticulously crafted engagement letters for clients, verifying accuracy, and ensuring proper spelling and grammar.
    • Prepare non-technical correspondence to clients, maintaining high standards of spelling, grammar, and professionalism.
  3. Client File Management:
    • Maintain physical client files while in the office, ensuring organization and accessibility.
    • Coordinate the reception and return of client files, overseeing the pickup and delivery process of boxes to and from clients.
  4. Portal Folder Creation:
    • Create and organize portal folders in alignment with client request listings, facilitating efficient data management and retrieval.
  5. Operational Support:
    • Act as backup support for the operations department during absences and high-volume workload periods, ensuring seamless continuity of essential functions.
Requirements:

To become a part of this dynamic organization, you must possess the following:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute within a team-oriented setting.
