Job DescriptionJob Description

The Rental Coordinator position is responsible for providing administrative support with the coordination and processing of rental sales.  

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a working knowledge competitor’s practices and rental rates
  • Reconcile electronic charge transactions
  • Schedule, dispatch, and route vehicles for the transport of equipment and products
  • Foster customer relations to improve customer loyalty and satisfaction
  • Answer telephones and direct calls to correct individuals or departments
  • Responsibility for maintaining inventory control and security
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding equipment
  • Coordinate with shop staff regarding repair status and availability of equipment
  • Develop sales proposals and/or presentations from customer inquiries
  • Support sales staff demonstration and sales agreements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required.
  • College degree (business, sales, construction) preferred.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability
  • Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications, Lotus Notes, Web-browsers, and must be able to develop functional ability in the use of proprietary software.
