**Job Summary:**
As a Technical Service Representative, you will be a key member of the PPG team, providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to our Automotive OEM customers. You will work on-site to ensure the successful implementation of PPG products and services, and provide expert guidance to help customers optimize their operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide technical support and expertise to Automotive OEM customers, ensuring excellent customer service and driving sales growth
* Serve as a subject matter expert on PPG products and services, providing in-depth knowledge on product composition, application equipment, and environmental issues
* Collaborate with customers to understand their specific needs and develop customized solutions that meet their requirements
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business goals and priorities
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product developments, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science)
* Strong understanding of automotive coatings, painting processes, and finishing operations
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong analytical and technical skills
* Fluency in English
* Certification as an Optima Solutions Professional (or willingness to obtain)
**Schedule:**
Monday-Friday, first shift hours, 40 hours/week. Start and end time are flexible. No mandatory overtime.
