We are now hiring CNC Press Brake Operators who are team players, versatile, and dependable

$20.00 per hour

7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

CNC Press Brake Operators Job Summary

  • CNC Press Brake, perform complex programming using all features of the press brake

  • Shape multiple types of metal, primarily sheet metal

  • Load pieces of metal into the machine for shaping or straightening

  • Use CNC controller to input information into machine

  • Work with tight tolerances

  • Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints

  • Check height, depth and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges and other precision-measuring instruments

  • Read drawing and blueprints

  • Complete and maintain paperwork

  • Ensure machine is calibrated and cleaned

  • Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to procedures

CNC Press Brake Operator Qualifications

  • Previous experience opening a press brake (other than ductwork)

  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings

  • Must be able to lift heavier parts in and out of the brake
