Position: Building Automation System Installation Technicians

Join our dynamic and expanding team as a Building Automation System Installation Technician We are a small company with a large portfolio of contracts, offering numerous opportunities for career growth and advancement. Your role will involve installing building automation systems to the highest standards of quality. We have openings for both entry-level and experienced technicians. Candidates with experience in data cable installation, commercial electrical work, conduit bending/installation skills, or basic electrical knowledge are highly encouraged to apply. We are committed to training motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow with us.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Some experience in electrical or HVAC systems is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or within a team.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Applicants must have normal color vision, as the ability to accurately identify wires by color is essential for this role.
  • Experience installing EMT conduit is a plus.

For those with less experience, we seek motivated individuals dedicated to learning. While some experience in building automation systems is preferred, we are willing to train candidates committed to developing their skills.

General Requirements for All Candidates:

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the US and pass background checks with local school districts.
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
  • Good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
  • Proficiency with electrical tools such as drills, hammer drills, and band saws.
  • Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, due to project requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb/carry ladders. This work is physical.
  • Must be able to work in all environments, including outdoors in varying weather conditions.
