Low Voltage Technician

Conti LLC. (Conti) is looking for a Low Voltage Tech I, II, III, Senior Technician / Project Manager. Individual must be focused, self-reliant and able to provide technical support, installations and carry out maintenance orders concerning any low voltage situation (devices, systems and components). As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for Service calls, Trouble shooting, performing installations to the standards’ set forth by the Senior Management of Conti.
Physical Security Technician duties will include the following:
Able to interpret schematics for the purpose of performing installs, maintain, or repair of security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment, able to follow blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
Completing the final Test and Acceptance of security systems.
Establish and implement effective, trouble shooting procedures/processes.
Communicates effectively in both oral and written communications. Communicates with people outside the Company, representing the Company to customers, the public, government and other external sources. Communicates with supervisor, peers, subordinates and other Company staff, working as part of a team contributing to Company goals.
Perform skilled repair and maintenance operations using tools of the trade.
Implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs and customer change orders.
Required excellent record keeping and organizational skills.
Ability to define problems, Data collection, establish facts, and draw conclusions drawing upon experience, research, and input from peers. This position performs multiple job tasks daily. Directs unusual or complex problems encountered to the Project Superintendent for input and/or direction.
Travel is required for this position.
Audio Visual Portion duties will include the following:

Basic Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in the field of installation experience of physical security systems.
BS degree (or Military Equivalent) in Electronic, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Basic understanding of IP schemes and programming.
OSHA Certification10/30-hour course.
Proficiency in all Microsoft office.
Ability to travel 20% of the time.
Ability to stand long hours, lift 40 pounds and work at times in an industrial environment.
A valid driver’s license, Background Check, and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
