Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Developer with a strong background in construction restoration Local Law 11, Garage Restoration Local Law 126, and Roofing to drive our business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing construction services, developing client relationships, and securing new business opportunities. This role involves attending business and networking events, maintaining current client relationships, and implementing innovative project management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Market our building envelope restoration services effectively to potential clients, architects, and engineers.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with professionals who conduct FISP inspections (Previously known as Local Law 11) and those who manage contractor bid lists.

· Attend business and networking events and represent us: To build and expand our professional network.

· Communicate our value proposition to clients and convince them to include us in their bid lists.

· Oversee quality control and ensure that projects are set up correctly based on information from kickoff meetings, specifications, and plans.

· Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and repeat business.

· Monitor progress, resolve any issues and communicate updates to stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

· Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of the projects, promoting a harmonious working atmosphere.

· Uphold high-quality standards throughout the construction process to meet and exceed customer expectations and ensure satisfaction.

· Ensure that each project is completed with maximum efficiency and profitability.

· Proficiently handle project estimating and effectively pitch change orders during ongoing projects to increase cash flow, ensuring not to jeopardize the client relationship.

· Maintain a complete record of all the pitches, meetings, and outreach of any type.

· Tracking material and services and making sure all of these are being provided on time, and with accuracy and efficiency.

· Create and distribute our monthly Newsletter showcasing progress and achievements.

· Assist the principal of the company in understanding and implementing new project management software and demonstrating its benefits to the organization.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the construction industry.

· In-depth knowledge of building envelope restoration and FISP inspections.

· Proven ability to market construction services and secure new business.

· Strong networking skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

· Excellent communication and management skills.

· Proactive approach and ability to work independently.

· Experience with project management software’s like Contractor Foreman, PlanSwift, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Adobe Acrobat and its implementation is a plus.
