Drs. Alpha, Delgadillo, and Heise are looking for several full-time oral surgery assistants to join our back office team We are looking for highly motivated individuals who thrive in a fast paced surgery environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Assisting, suctioning, and passing during Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeries

  • Preoperative patient guidance during consultations and on the day of surgery

  • Facilitate post operative patient care and instructions on at home care responsibilities

  • Cleaning of exam rooms and proper sterilization of instruments/equipment

  • Facilitate patient X-Rays

  • Restocking & organizing surgical supplies

  • Sterilization & tray set-ups

  • Back-up support to the front desk when needed & scheduling appointments in WinOMSCS

  • Maintaining a clean and organized office environment including front office, back office, surgical rooms, waiting rooms, and recovery room

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong problem solving skills

The work hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with rotating 7:30am to 4:30pm shifts and opportunity for Saturday morning shifts. This person must be able to multitask and perform calmly under stressful situations. This position works very closely with the surgeons and is a critical role to ensure we are serving each patient to the best of our abilities.
