Responsibilities
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
1. Analyze Data for Process Improvements:
· Collect and analyze data to identify areas for process improvements, workflow optimization, and increased efficiency.
· Use statistical methods and data analysis tools to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
2. Internal Audit and Metric Tracking Activities:
· Analyze results and derive action plans for improvement.
3. Business Intelligence Tools:
· Design and implement Business Intelligence tools for financial and operational decision-making.
· Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
4. Continuous Data Collection and Analysis:
· Continuously collect and analyze data to ensure the implementation of scorecards and performance metrics.
· Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
5. Compliance and Metrics Verification:
· Analyze data to verify compliance with established metrics and standards.
· Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant teams and management.
6. ERP System Implementation:
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement a new ERP system.
· Provide data analysis support during the implementation process and ensure data integrity.
7. Data-Driven Reports and Presentations:
· Develop data-driven reports and presentations to support operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
· Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
8. General Support:
· Provide general support to the WPOE Department initiatives.
· Assist with ad-hoc data analysis requests and special projects as needed.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
· Degree in Accounting (cost accounting preferred), Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field is preferred.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, cost accounting and project budgeting.
· Experience in analyzing and implementing metrics aligned with work processes and workflows driven by results.
· Experience in data driven internal audit initiatives.
· Experience in working with ERPs and financial systems.
· Advanced use of excel and other data analysis tools like Power BI or similar.
· Use of process related software and tools.
· Knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools.
· Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Problem solving skills, attention to detail.
· Innovative and works well with teams.
· Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish).
