Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a talented, visionary Chef De Cuisine to join our team  You have a strong desire and ability to create new flavors, creative plating, and a distinctive and unique culinary experience for our guests. You excel and thrive will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant's brand and reputation. You enjoy interacting with customers and staff, and your management style is encouraging and supportive. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day and all culinary operations
  • Manage food and kitchenware orders, as well as full inventory.
  • Check freshness and quality of ingredients
  • Develop a new menu, and continuously imagine and produce new menu items
  • Standardize recipes and plate presentations
  • Perform full cost analysis on new items, and changes to existing to ensure positive margins
  • Work with management and cocktail staff to create a memorable experience for guests
  • Hire, train, discipline, and terminate all kitchen staff

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years in a Chef De Cuisine or Executive Chef role
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook, and expediter
  • Exceptional skills and training in at least two of three regional cuisines, Spanish / Mediterranean / French
  • Prefer experience with and training under Michelin Star Chef 
  • Thorough knowledge and skills in cost and labor systems 
  • Passion for food and cooking techniques
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
