JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • We are looking for a Design Specialist with experience developing  Installation drawings for Manufacturing Equipment and Plant Layouts on-site at the JEFFERSONVILLE, OHIO manufacturing facility.  
  • Will be responsible for the Detailed Design of  Equipment Installation drawings for material handling systems and/or automation, robotics,  weld systems, and mixing systems.  
  • Experience with Battery Manufacturing or Vehicle Assembly or large manufacturing facilities is highly desired. 
  • Equipment Field verifications, interference studies, as built, equipment updates, and measurements of tooling, equipment, and infrastructure for detailed locations and accuracy.
  • Work with Project Managers to review, evaluate, change and/or update work area, automation, equipment, and zone layouts.
  • Use of AutoCAD 2D/3D to Design, Print, and distribute Plant Layout Drawings.
  • Attend an engineering meeting, create Reports and Charts using MSOffice
  • Assist plant engineering with changes or improvements

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Min 3 years of Design/ Development of Manufacturing Equipment, or conveyors, or tooling and Plant Layouts.
  • Experience working with Automotive OEMs Manufacturing Systems or Conveyance Systems is a Big Plus
  • Min 3 years of reading and interpreting drawings/blueprints, including Mechanical Systems and Equipment Drawings
  • Min 3 years of AutoCAD Design Experience in 2D/3D as a main job responsibilities
  • Must be able to work on-site at Jeffersonville, OH at the construction site 95% ( living assistance for remote candidates available)
  • Must have good Communication skills and be able to work with engineers and PM’s
  • The Pay rate is Based on Experience
