Our company is currently seeking ​a Bookkeeper for a fast-paced apartment community in Capitol Heights, MD.  (*Affordable housing experience is a plus) You will be responsible for AR/AP for vendors and for the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee AP/AR under supervision of Property Manager
  • Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
  • Compute and record - rent payments
  • Check the accuracy of transactions
  • Read ledgers & discuss accounts
  • Discuss accounts and delinquencies with residents
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping at an apartment community
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar software
