Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Technician - Northern NJ

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, and servicing fire alarm systems for commercial and industrial clients in Northern New Jersey.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, test, and service fire alarm systems in compliance with NFPA codes and standards
  • Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems as needed
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on work performed and make recommendations for system improvements
  • Complete service tickets, inspection reports, and other necessary paperwork accurately and on time
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in fire alarm technology and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a fire alarm technician
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
  • Experience with Edwards, Silent Knight and Autocall a plus
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
