Job Title: Data Entry Specialist with Experience in Medical Provider Outreach for Secret Shopper Survey

Job Location: remote

Job Duration: full-time, temporary for 3 weeks (starting Monday, Sept 3 - ending approx. Sept 20)

Pay Rate: hourly

·         Entry-Level: $15 - $18 per hour

·         Mid-Level (with relevant experience): $18 - $22 per hour

·         Experienced (with specialized knowledge in Medicaid/CHIP and secret shopper surveys): $22 - $28 per hour

 

Job Description:

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Specialist with experience in conducting outreach to medical provider offices. The primary focus of this role will be to support a secret shopper survey designed to evaluate the accuracy of provider information within Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Managed Care Plans (MCPs). This position involves both data entry and outbound calling to medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely data collection.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Conduct outbound calls to medical provider offices to verify and collect information.

- Pose as a patient (secret shopper) to evaluate the accuracy of provider information, including appointment availability, provider acceptance of new patients, and MCO affiliation.

- Accurately enter data collected from calls into the macro-enabled excel system, maintaining strict attention to detail.

- Collaborate with the survey team to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism during all interactions with healthcare providers.

 

Qualifications:

 

- Proven experience in data entry with a high degree of accuracy.

- Previous experience in outbound calling, particularly to medical provider offices, is required.

- Familiarity with Medicaid, CHIP, and managed care plans (MCPs) is highly preferred.

- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to conduct professional and effective phone calls.

- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data entry software.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

 

Preferred Experience:

 

- Experience with secret shopper surveys or similar research methods.

- Knowledge of CMS regulations, specifically 42 CFR 438.68 regarding network adequacy standards.

- Experience in healthcare data collection or research.
