We are seeking a hands-on Engineering/Quality Assurance Manager. This mission-critical position is responsible for ensuring our products and services comply with strict design guidelines, while meeting our customers’ requirements.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Review all incoming customer requests to be certain R-K will meet their requirements
  • Communicate and work with R-K’s Sales Department to confirm the correct assembly and/or part is ultimately supplied to our customer
  • Ensure the correct Bill of Materials, drawings, and test procedures are listed on the internal paperwork
  • Assist our assemblers with questions regarding function, testing or tagging of parts
  • Correspond with customers and suppliers regarding product questions or issues
  • Troubleshoot customers’ field problems and offer solutions
  • Maintain R-K’s internal order log and issue monthly updates to Management
  • Register all incoming repair orders and complete a repair check list
  • Establish raw material requirements for R-K suppliers and monitor compliance
  • Witness all product testing and approve internal documents
  • Inspect all supplier products, and issue approval or rejection
  • Maintain accurate inspection documentation, including all customer-requested certificates of compliance and test reports
  • Assist in ensuring R-K adherence to health and safety guidelines
  • Perform inspection tool calibration
  • Perform all final inspections of finished materials to assure compliance with all design standards and ensure customer expectations are met

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Work Experience: Min.3 years hands-on Manufacturing
  • Candidate should have a strong Mechanical background in a Manufacturing setting.
  • Expert understanding of general engineering principles and their application
  • Proficient with computer software, including Excel and MS Word

Successful candidates will be:

  • Detail oriented, and able to manage multiple projects
  • Self-motivated and possess excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Able to improve processes and procedures to improve company performance
