Role & Responsibilities:

· Support the articulated vision and strategies for entrenching Lean Six Sigma at a manufacturing plant.

· Researches and identifies fiscally sound potential projects and then uses established leadership skills to build, develop, and lead teams to execute a solution for the project.

· Incumbent uses standardized Lean Six Sigma methodologies to systematically eliminate waste and reduce process variation.

· Ensures collaboration to keep plant leadership apprised of program status.

· Ensure projects are integrated with other business activities, improvement projects, and business strategy.

· Captures lessons learned from previous projects that can be replicated.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Proven internal or external LSS experience, Degree in Engineering is a plus.

· Minimum of two years experience in manufacturing, without a Engineering degree.

· Must successfully complete the USG Lean Six Sigma Certification Process.

· Demonstrated leadership potential, particularly around change management and building high functioning teams.

· Strong business orientation, including financial, mathematical and statistical analysis skills.

· Proven organizational and project management skills.

· IT competency in Microsoft Office programs.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
