We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. This position is in a cubicle setting, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Once fully trained, this person would have the ability to work one day a week from home, if they so choose.

Duties:

  • Creating edits/invoices
  • Posting cash to customer accounts
  • Organize information for monthly credit meetings
  • Maintain various Excel spreadsheets relating to accounts receivable/banking activity
  • Collection calls if needed
  • Reconciliation of outside inventory
  • Maintain monthly reports for storage revenue/inventory
  • Month-end general ledger account reconciliations
  • Maintain customer accounts/set up new customers
  • Collect credit information for prospective customers
  • Cross train for accounts payable/receiving and charting
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills:

  • Communication: Developed written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Account receivable specialists will often communicate with clients, requesting payment or setting up payment plans.
  • Project management: Strong project management skills are useful as you are often managing multiple projects at one time.
  • Organization: Organizational skills are crucial.
  • Accuracy/attention to detail: Must have the ability to closely pay attention to detail and will ensure that records and reports are accurate.
  • Computer: Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Etc.)
