Pacific Biomedical Services, Inc. is a privately owned medical equipment service company located in Folsom, CA. We need an experienced Biomedical Technician I to support our equipment repair and maintenance needs. This person will provide office based and on-site preventative maintenance and equipment repairs to our customers throughout the US.
This position offers benefits, paid time off, performance-based bonuses, and a great work environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Office based preventative maintenance and repairs in Folsom, CA. Primary equipment but not limited to, ventilators, patient monitors, and infusion pumps
-Travel to the ground and air ambulance bases throughout the United States for planned preventative maintenance and electrical safety inspections on a broad range of patient care and support equipment in compliance with manufacturer standards, including ventilators, patient monitors, and infusion pumps
-Document all service actions taken in our work order management system, including serial numbers, specific repairs completed, equipment status, and location details
-Document all significant asset-related actions with a high level of detail
-Answer general questions and provide professional, friendly customer service to end users at base locations
A highly successful person in this position will have the following:
-Associates degree, BMET, or higher in electronics/biomedical equipment technology
-1 to 3 years of experience servicing clinical/patient care equipment in a hospital or EMS environment
-Ability to work independently with some supervision
-Great organization and time management skills
-Working knowledge of computer applications in order to complete work orders for our customers
-Ability to troubleshoot issues with equipment and resolve errors
