The Human Resources Manager holds an essential position responsible overall to support the Firm’s mission and goals. The position reports directly to the Firm’s Managing Partners and Executive Committee. The Human Resources Manager supports all levels within the Firm to promote supportive, positive work experience. The position is responsible for seven offices located within four states: Illinois, Indiana, Missouri & St. Louis.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Collaboratively developing and implementing initiatives and policy that align with the Firm’s business strategy

·         Manage HR team and other personnel

·         Collaborate with other managers/others to successfully navigate personnel matters

·         Actively participating and facilitating the recruitment and selection process

·         Coordinating onboarding (and offboarding) of personnel

·         Employee engagement, relations / management of the employee experience

·         Recommend and implement training, development and recognition initiatives

·         Manage the performance process  

·         Confer on benefit administration

·         create / update policy and procedure

·         Ensure legal compliance with employment and labor laws

·         Identify opportunities for process improvement

Attributes of the ideal candidate:

·         Possess excellent judgement and ability to process sensitive information appropriately and maintain confidentiality

·         Thoughtful problem-solver / decision maker

·         Self-starter who works well independently and within a team

·         Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the Firm internally and externally

·         Excellent follow-up and follow through / mindfulness

·         Organized with the ability to effectively multi-task

Education / Experience

·         Degree and/or Certification in Human Resources or related field preferred

·         5+ Years of HR related background with managerial experience

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
