Role Description:

This is a part-time Dental Assistant/EDDA role at Capitol Premier Dental Group in Denver, CO. A great schedule (Monday - Thursday), never open nights or weekends, located in the Cherry Creek area.

 

This role involves:

  • Chair-side assisting for a wide range of restorative dental procedures including temporaries for crown and bridge, fillings, impressions, dentures, etc.
  • Diagnostic quality x-rays
  • Assisting with hygiene, periodontal charting, polishing, applying fluoride, and sealants
  • Provide oral hygiene instructions, preventive dentistry, and dietary counseling
  • Perform a wide range of laboratory functions
  • Providing support to the dental team
  • Sterilizing equipment
  • Preparing patients for treatment
  • Efficient room turnover
  • Implementation and documentation of current infection control standards
  • Maintaining patient records

Qualifications

  • 2+ Years of restorative experience as a dental assistant or 4+ Years as an EDDA
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
